SIGNS AND SUPERSTITIONS OF TRADERS. PART 2

Good and bad signs of stock and currency traders vary in their variety – from lucky coins to moon phases. What superstitions alone do not use speculators to earn.

Each person has his own superstitions and signs. Someone goes around a block if a black cat crosses a path, someone is afraid to drop a fork or sprinkle salt, etc. And how many such “troubles” have stock and currency traders – you can’t even imagine!

1. AN AMULET THAT ATTRACTS MONEY

For example, in Russia, such an amulet has always been a nickel. In Germany, it is believed that a bent coin or a coin with a hole in the middle brings financial prosperity.

In the United States, the first earned dollar is considered an amulet that attracts money. In the offices of many wealthy investors and exchange players, you can see such a dollar in a frame under glass.

A two-dollar denomination, by contrast, is considered unfortunate. She received this status immediately after her appearance in 1928, and later her release was completely stopped. However, in Russia, a two-dollar banknote is considered lucky. Many traders carry this in a separate pocket of their wallet, and its price is sometimes very different from the official rate.

2. OVERALLS

You already know about red clothes and spilled coffee from the first part. But many traders, especially men, still sacredly believe in the sign about the length of the skirts, which appeared immediately after the Second World War. If short skirts come into fashion, the state of the economy will worsen, if long skirts, then everything will be fine.

3. BULLS

It’s considered a big misfortune to break the bull’s figure, which many traders place near their monitors. Continuing the bullish theme, traders holding long positions exclude beef from their menu so as not to anger their exchange “patron”.

4. TSSSS

There is a saying that money loves silence. Therefore, many traders replace live communication with increased activity on social networks. There is another interpretation, from which one more sign follows, the direct influence of publicity on the result of the transaction. Many exchange players believe that it is worth sharing their successes with someone, the streak of success will end immediately, giving way to losses.

5. CONSTRUCTION

A sign about construction is very widespread, such traders observe the construction of some object. While construction is ongoing, everything will be all right on the market. As soon as the construction for some reason stops, the market will collapse.

6. WATCHING THE SUN

Many traders firmly believe in the influence of weather conditions on market trading. For example, they never shop in the rain. It is believed that such transactions will certainly result in a loss.

7. MINUS THE PLUS

Widely practiced a kind of sacrifice to the market. If the price goes against the trader, you need to fix a small part of the position at a loss. It is believed that accepting such a sacrifice, the market will turn around and go in the right direction.

EXOTIC SIGNS OF STOCK MARKETS

Some signs and superstitions of traders look too funny and ridiculous. However, in some circles, they are considered almost canonical.

8. PRAYER TO BUFFETT

For example, traders on the New York stock exchanges believe that if you say to yourself, like prayers, quotes from the books of the famous investor Warren Buffet, the transactions will most likely be successful.

9. FOOTBALL

Who said speculators are far from sports? For US traders, the guideline is the winner of the American Football Final for the title of champion of the National Football League. If the team that became the champion is part of the NFL National Football League, then the market is waiting for the rise. If the representative of the American Football League AFL wins in the finals, then hard times are coming on the exchange.

10. LIKE CLOCKWORK

Predicting the dynamics of the S & P500 stock index, it turns out, is very simple. To do this, traders use … oil production data in Bangladesh. The doubled percentage of the production growth of this oil is precisely at such a pace that the shares included in the S & P500 index will grow next year.

To believe signs or not is a personal matter of every trader. And if the phases of the moon, the presence of a cat in the room, or the color of the traffic light on the way to the office helps you make a profit in the market, then why not take advantage of it?
